Morning sunlight pierces the curtains
The alarm rings in my ear
Two hours too early
The snooze button’s broken

I hate it

No one’s home
One plate at the table
A half-empty glass of orange juice
A bowl of cold cereal

I hate it

Went to school early
Rode with the same old bike
Seat’s too hard
The wheels kept squeaking

I hate it

First period’s Math
Forgot my locker combination
Slipped on the floor
Lost my homework

I hate it

School’s almost done
Rode through the afternoon
Chain breaks loose
Walked five blocks home

I hate it

Rested in bed
Wanted to watch TV
Signal’s busted
Forgot to pay cable

I hate it

Can’t take it anymore
Screamed my head off
Why is life so unfair?
Why is this always happening to me?

I hate it
I want to die
1st Place winner for ^joannastar and `GaioumonBatou's Random Emo Title Generator Poetry Contest

It's poorly done, I know, I just jumbled words up, I only do conceptual stuff, so here y'go

This poem's proof why emo's are overpopulating the world, they hate everything! The littlest things can turn you emo!

PWAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh yes, this is pretty much emo to the extreme. Noticing every little thing that goes wrong, hating it, and wishing it to die. :XD: Thanks, this really made me laugh.

Very well put, and I don't know if it was intentional, but your putting all of your verbs in past tense, then using present tense in the middle to say, "I hate it." Like i said, i don't know if it was intentional, but stuck out

Don't know if it was intentional or not, don't even know it was wrong. I'll see if fixing it makes it sounds better (I don't really know English, I just go with what sounds right)

Thanks for the input ^^

Ahaha, well to be honest, I've learned all I know just from watching cable TV, so I don't see if my English grammar, pronunciation, etc, is wrong, I just write what feels right. Going on language instincts is easy, but it's hard to get a perfect 100 in my grades

That is really well done! Laughed the whole way through, specifically the "half-empty glass of orange juice". Nice touch there, and congrats on winning!

Looked through some everyday things that can spark anger is all, and let's face it, someday in our lives, there has to be moments like that, I know I certainly have
